Do you know what is sheet metal fabrication?

Do you know what is sheet metal fabrication? Sheet metal fabrication refers to the classification of producing processes that shape a piece of sheet metal into the required components through material removal or material deformation. The size of sheet metal components can be varied from a small washer or bracket to midsize enclosures for house appliances, to large airplane wings, these components are found in a variety of industries, such as aircraft, automotive, construction, consumer product, HVAC, and furniture. The sheet metal fabrication processes can mostly be placed into two categories - forming and cutting.  Sheet metal cutting processes are those during which the applied force causes the material to fail and separate, allowing the material to be cut or removed. Most sheet cutting processes are performed by applying a good enough shearing force to separate the material and are therefore sometimes referred to as shearing processes. Different cutting processes remove material by using heat or abrasion, instead of shearing forces.
